Our Fitness Classes

All classes are held at Light the Fire CrossFit.

Welcome to a new type of fitness classes - lead by healthcare providers with expert knowledge on movement.

Mom’s Fitness Club

This is class is for the expecting & postpartum moms (remember you’re postpartum forever!). Classes are designed with specific considerations regarding the changes of your core and pelvic floor muscles during pregnancy & postpartum. Lead by the knowledgeable clinical staff of MOVE Physical Therapy, the only local providers of pelvic floor therapy services, you’ll learn how to connect with your core & pelvic floor muscles, while staying active and moving.

Moms, we get it. It’s hard to find time for yourselves, especially with kiddos. Our Mom’s Fitness Club is kid-friendly as long as they can be contained or entertained! Feel free to bring strollers, use baby carriers or lay little ones on blankets. For older kiddos, we have a kid space in our lounge with coloring supplies & books.

Classes are Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:30-10:30am at Light the Fire CrossFit (same space as MOVE Physical Therapy!). Scroll down to the bottom of the page for parking information.

Pricing is $150 for 2 classes/week for 6 weeks, $90 for 1 class/week for 6 weeks. Drop-ins are also welcome at $20/class.

Legends Class

Legends is a class specifically for our older population! If you are 50+ years old, this is for you! This class will be led by the knowledgeable staff of MOVE Physical Therapy who all hold incredible knowledge about the human body and the age related changes that are inevitable in this phase of life!

Studies continue to demonstrate the importance of strength training for older adults to keep hearts healthy, joints happy, blood sugar low, and body feeling good! A mixture of body weight, dumbbells, kettlebells, cardio, and stretching - taught by experts of the muscles and movements of the body, doctors of physical therapy and physical therapy assistants. Moving into the next phase, it's more important now than ever to make sure our bodies are strong and healthy. The phrase "if you don't use it you lose it" is very real!

How to find us & parking

We’re located within the old Benesh building, which is on the corner of South Monroe St and 5th St. There is parking along the 5th St side of the building, as well as to the west & north of the garage next to the building - along Cass St. and behind the garage. The entrance to Light the Fire CrossFit and MOVE Physical Therapy is located at the southwest corner of the building, off the ally between the Benesh building and the garage next door. Once you enter the building, the door to the gym & clinic space is directly across the vestibule. We look forward to seeing you!
